TC Edwards:
Little Rock's favorite metal fan
and the legacy he left behind
TC was a devoted fan of metal, and he also was one of the sweetest humans to ever rock the planet. While he was humble and unassuming, TC also was a real-life rock star in Little Rock, Arkansas, his hometown. He was a beloved, quirky, kind-hearted character – authentic, artistic, autistic – and a familiar face in the diverse Little Rock neighborhood of Stifft Station. His murder on Dec. 5, 2014, crushed the close-knit creative community that TC was an integral part of.
TC was a quiet observer of everything and everyone, lovable and playful like a kitten; and when the occasion required it, he was loud, brave, and strong. Behind his signature soft-spoken charm and childlike geniality, TC struggled under the crippling weight of autism and the far-reaching side effects of that disability: surviving the loss of his family, homelessness, unemployment, arrests, bullying, and more. Through it all, he held onto kindness and hope – until he was killed.
This is his story, his history, and his legacy.
We are grateful beyond these words for the support of our community, and TC is grateful from beyond this world. Thank you #TCARMY!
