TC Edwards:

Little Rock's favorite metal fan

and the legacy he left behind

TC was a devoted fan of metal, and he also was one of the sweetest humans to ever rock the planet. While he was humble and unassuming, TC also was a real-life rock star in Little Rock, Arkansas, his hometown. He was a beloved, quirky, kind-hearted character – authentic, artistic, autistic – and a familiar face in the diverse Little Rock neighborhood of Stifft Station. His murder on Dec. 5, 2014, crushed the close-knit creative community that TC was an integral part of.

TC was a quiet observer of everything and everyone, lovable and playful like a kitten; and when the occasion required it, he was loud, brave, and strong. Behind his signature soft-spoken charm and childlike geniality, TC struggled under the crippling weight of autism and the far-reaching side effects of that disability: surviving the loss of his family, homelessness, unemployment, arrests, bullying, and more. Through it all, he held onto kindness and hope – until he was killed.

This is his story, his history, and his legacy.

We are grateful beyond these words for the support of our community, and TC is grateful from beyond this world. Thank you #TCARMY!

WHO WE ARE

Welcome to TC IS METAL and the headquarters of the TC Army.

I am Mike Poe, film and events producer/director at 24P Studios and the creator behind “TC IS METAL,” the documentary. I’m also serving as host of the new TC & Me: The Podcast, and the director of operations for the TC Army.

TC IS METAL is a website dedicated to TC Edwards, legendary Central Arkansas rock-star and lead singer of the local heavy metal band TC & The Eddies.

The #TCArmy is a dedicated team of friends and supporters from around the world who want to be a part of our mission to honor TC’s life, and seeking the conviction of the person responsible for his death.

Our mission is simple: Stand up for TC since he cannot stand for himself. Stand for truth and justice, since justice cannot be given to us without a fight. We will share our collective efforts in hopes of solving his homicide, bringing his killer to justice, and getting a murder conviction.

TC IS METAL is also our place to celebrate TC’s life and collaborate about the precious person he was by sharing moving stories – and moving pictures – that illuminate his infinite memory and energy. I am grateful that you have found us, and I would be honored to have you join our mission by subscribing, investigating, exploring, and sharing our TC IS METAL mission across every platform and publication.

I am incredibly grateful to all of you, and although I cannot thank you enough with these words for your support, I have dedicated my life to never stop trying.

I salute YOU – The TC ARMY!
